Just an amateur, having fun, enjoying life, loving the Lord. I'm an artist, so you might see bits of my paintings. I enjoy photography, but I am just starting to get into graphic design and am totally lovin' it! Also - I cannot WAIT to get my graphics tablet - then I can really start crankin' out some art! But anyway, I hope to learn a lot by posting my work here. (And if you didn't notice, I really like trees.)

haha yep thats Phoenix! although it hasn't gone over 100 yet which is nice...I love rain, everyone tells me I should move to Seattle, which I would love to but im not ready yet ;P sounds like some decent weather there though! minus the humidity ;)

Nice! yeah Im having fun with it and I'm getting into the more core classes like Photoshop and Illustrator which the instructor knows his stuff its great! ugh weather here is gettin hotter and hotter...Lately (like today) its feels great out so I'm happy about that :D how about Missouri??

Hey Sandy! Very cool to meet another artist from Phoenix! PVCC is great im totally enjoying it...I work in the computer lab here and it makes college experience so much better! and Yes they have an associates program for graphic design! thats what I'm gettin into and loving every minute of it :D

Hey! Thanks for the comment, Light painting is basically a photography technique where you take a light source (I used LED key chains) and expose a  camera to the light with out closing the lense. Kinda like video taping but layering every frame on top of the next.

I do use photoshop, and I taught myself as well. The best resource In my opinion is probably just google, as well as just messing around in photoshop. Trying to imitate something is also a good way to learn how certain effects can be achieved. I also use deviantart.com alot. They have tutorials/stock/brushes and all kinds of things to use.

It looks like you're already doing really well, but let me know if you need any help.
