I want to represent myself as a thinker. Being a designer is not simply adding an aesthetic value to something, it is solving a problem. This is what seperates designers from your typical artist. My belief is that as a designer, I am given the task to solve a problem that is presented to me. Whether it is researching how to better target a specific audience, or designing a symbol to represent a company; designers are responsible for how the audience perceives the solution. I believe that design is an ongoing process that never ends. Mirroring nature, design is always changing, adapting, and improving. It is not static, but fluid and progressing. Design is related to all aspects, and thus everything is designed.
